The
purposes of this research were to study behaviors, attitudes and effects of
sport gambling of administrators, instructors, educational personnel and
students, and to explore the measures and
recommendations for prevention of gambling in sport personnel. The
subjects are consisted of
administrators, instructors trainers, educational personnel and students. It was found that 1) in the past, 13.33% of the
subjects gambled. Gambling on football and boxing were favored.
Information and channels of gambling were from friends, LINE and Youtube
website. Reasons for gambling were thinking of gambling as a shortcut to
wealth, not creating problems to others, and for enjoyment and excitement. The
attitude toward gambling was at a high level of disagreement (x̅= 4.84). The effect of
gambling was at a high level of agreement (x̅ = 4.74). 2) For students, it was found that in the
past, 30.63% of them used to gamble. Gambling on football, boxing and e-sport
were favored. Information and channels of gambling were from YOUTUBE website.

of disagreement (x̅ = 4.57). The
effect of gambling was at a high level of agreement (x̅ = 4.74). 3) The prevention of sport gambling can be
done by launching campaign creating awareness of gambling effects, holding course or short training on
prevention of gambling, and controlling athletes, trainers and sport personnel not to be involved in gambling by
specifying measure.
